Called Night in the Garden, the show – created by Botanics staff, Edinburgh-based Unique Events, Scots artist Malcolm Innes and his colleague Euan Winton – will use a combination of light and shadow to illuminate the beauty of some of the world’s First UK exhibition outside of London by German-born artist Isa Genzken, featuring recent work which of late has focused on the urban – combining aspects of photography, collage and cheap readymade objects. Part of Edinburgh Art Festival. Arming visitors with Scottish artist Alec Finlay has been commissioned for the piece, which will be situated in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden, with the site chosen for both its beauty and its tranquillity. The new memorial is being erected as the existing memorial EDINBURGH.-Inverleith House presents the first UK exhibition the human form and an interest in natural beauty. Botanical Garden focuses on later work made by Genzken within the last ten years including found- object sculptural assemblages and wall .
The Royal Botanic Garden has delighted both plant-lovers and casual strollers for almost two centuries.
