Edinburgh Botanic Garden

Called Night in the Garden, the show – created by Botanics staff, Edinburgh-based Unique Events, Scots artist Malcolm Innes and his colleague Euan Winton – will use a combination of light and shadow to illuminate the beauty of some of the world’s First UK exhibition outside of London by German-born artist Isa Genzken, featuring recent work which of late has focused on the urban – combining aspects of photography, collage and cheap readymade objects. Part of Edinburgh Art Festival. An easy commute from Edinburgh's city center, the 70-acre Royal Botanic Garden is known for its rock garden and collection of wild Chinese plants (the largest outside China). Much of their collection species are inside the ten public glasshouses, including Sodexo Prestige, exclusive caterers at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE), in the heart of the historic Scottish capital, is now playing host to a majestic treasure hunt, leading guests on a magical mystery tour of the gardens. Arming visitors with Scottish artist Alec Finlay has been commissioned for the piece, which will be situated in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden, with the site chosen for both its beauty and its tranquillity. The new memorial is being erected as the existing memorial EDINBURGH.-Inverleith House presents the first UK exhibition the human form and an interest in natural beauty. Botanical Garden focuses on later work made by Genzken within the last ten years including found- object sculptural assemblages and wall .

The Royal Botanic Garden has delighted both plant-lovers and casual strollers for almost two centuries. Edinburgh's most peaceful tourist attraction, it's also a noted centre for botanical and horticultural research, and houses the oldest botanical library The Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry is looking forward to a new batch of rare conifers arriving for planting in the grounds at the end of the summer. The 48-acre grounds and gardens have been playing host to Perthshire Big Tree Country's ICONic Project As the browning petals begin to drop from the flowers in Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden, and summer comes to a close, there is no better exhibition to see than the one of paintings by the late Joan Mitchell at Inverleith House in the Garden grounds. Founded in the 17 th Century in St Anne’s Yard, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is a beautiful scientific institution, dedicated to the biology, conservation and evolution of plants. RBGE now extends to four sites – Edinburgh, Benmore .
